Celebration

I was driving around looking for a celebratory photograph and seeing another of my road into the distance photos when these cows shot out of the hedgerow and ran into the road shortly to be chased by a farmer in a land rover trying to catch them.. The celebration is that my son who had heard that he had not got the place he wanted for his PhD now has got it. I am not sure how the change came about but he has a research place at the Jane Goodall Research Centre in the University of Southern California in LA .. continuing his work with genetics in relation to the conservation of chimpanzees .. We are delighted as you might imagine.. At least for a while I will be flying in the same direction to see both sons!! Although I suspect Alex will be off to Africa before too long with this work.
