Reindeer Rollercoaster

We spent our first full day in Finland with a family of reindeer farmers. These guys use reindeer for everything - transport, clothing, food, tourism. There isn't anything they don't know.

We were each handed a length of rope attached to our reindeer for the morning and told very sternly to 'show him you are boss, but do not look directly at him'. Apparently these guys are quite feisty. Maybe they knew we were having reindeer stew for lunch . . .
