The sound of water

one of the jobs I've done today was to clean the pipes on the water feature love the sound of water in the garden, and run it all year round but it does tend to get green algae growing down the pipes in winter. Restricted as to what I can put in the water to keep it clean because Poppy tends to drink from it!
