May 2000. I was reading Randy Shilts "Conduct Unbecoming" at the time, and I thought this information was just going to blow everybody's mind - and it didn't. That was a bitch to figure out how to get all of that text into the panels, and then remember it was shrunk down to the size of a postage stamp when it was printed in the paper - but I had a soapbox and I was going to use it by golly.
