Stage Set
I never look forward to going out on the evenings when I have been working. Must be getting old. So I have to confess I dragged myself off to Rottingdean last night where 8 of our friends had booked tickets to see an amateur production of Terence Rattigan's "Separate Tables" in the Village Hall. It is all so quaint. In the entrance a table was set up to purchase wine or soft drinks, crisps and chocolate. You are also able to buy your teas and coffees for the interval and it is then brought to your seat. Talk about service.
More importantly, the acting was fantastic. Not at all hammy and they interpreted the play brilliantly.
