Hoof in Ear

My wife and I decided to step away for a moment late this afternoon. We drove to a 4H farm which sits next to the local park, somehow it always provides a form of escape for us.

We arrived shortly after 3pm which apparently is a rise and chow-down time for the livestock. On the top field we found a small group that seemed to be perfectly content to munch away on their own.

This gal appeared to be struggling with an ear issue. I did the best I could to explain that she should never put anything larger than her hoof in her ear, but I'm not sure she understood me.

The warm spring air, the sun, nature, and my wife ...it was the perfect (smile moment) getaway.
