Urrrrrgggghhhh! Stop splashing about!
I thought I was going to have to beg Bony to grant me an interview as it was looking like another day of having fun with non existent people but fortunately I got things sorted out and I finished at a decent time and caught these starlings having some fun so thought my skinny friend can wait until tomorrow.
See bathtime large!
I didn't speak to a single soul all day until I rang mom a couple of hours ago. She was going through one of those down days and I just reminded her that I'd be up at the end of next week so it wasn't so bad. It was then that the usual sort of thing came out - 'I'm not relying on you', 'I'm doing my own thing'. 'Don't bother coming up' and 'You should be going to Edinburgh to see your friends....'etc.etc.etc... I reminded her that I was looking forward to seeing her and also I'd be working up there and can't be partying all the time to which she retorted that I'm never in Ayr just on holiday which is a cheek as I was there on a week's holiday before I went to Edinburgh at the end of March. It just didn't matter what I said.
Oh well, tomorrow is another day and everyone's frame of mind can change as quickly as the Scottish weather. I can't see past the edge of my laptop at the moment. It was just a 'nose to the grindstone' day in the hope that tomorrow will be a little clearer. If I get three things sorted out early on, I'll have a few things to look forward to before the year is out.
For goodness sake! Sorry, I just heard a clip of the forthcoming national news and am doing my best to stay calm about the fact that Prince William has let slip that the baby George is a bit of a noisy baby. Seriously, who gives a shit? Actually, probably the baby does, hence the noise while he's doing a gigantic royal number two. That really annoys me! The world is falling apart and something like THAT makes the news in this country. Marvellous! No wonder Scotland want independence!
In other news, I saw 4 juvenile delinquent pigeons today swinging on the feeders. They are all bluster and no action though as when you tap on the window they all fly away! No sign of Lucky at all today sadly. Eddie (the hedgehog) came snuffling around at about 4pm before waddling off behind the shed. Last came this blue tit with the groovy hairstyle!
That's it for today.
Track? I heard three Stones numbers on the radio during the course of today which I was delighted about but I decided on this one - Love Is Strong
