Tea for two for three

In the beautiful birthday card that baby got for me (signed with a lovely bright red slightly murdery hand print) was an invitation for tea for two at Sissinghurst Castle tea room. She brought milk with her so T and I had the tea. We all sat outside in the sunshine and it was glorious. A rare day for us together and so, so nice.

We had a lunch at our favourite place in town and they brought me my sandwich with a candle in it! Very much appreciated.

I have had such lovely cards and some unexpected birthday money. I have decided to buy a couple of nice picnic blankets which I am sure will get a lot of use.
