Sunrise over the Spinnaker

The beauty of this time of year is that you can wake up at a civilised time on a Sunday morning and catch a glorious sunrise. Neighbouring Gosport commands great views of Portsmouth across the harbour so after a strong cup of coffee I headed there to enjoy the breaking of the day. (larger)

Once I'd caught the sunrise I made my way over to the complex that sits at the foot of the Spinnaker Tower to the left of the picture.

Annoying, while less than half a mile away from me by sea, to drive there entailed a 20 mile trip around the harbour!
