Bullens hot dogs part 2

Couldn't resist this blip as I was shopping in a local supermarket.

Since the last Bullen blip I've done some checking up as to why they are called Bullens Pilsner sausages. (You are quite right CannyScot - Pilsner is beer!)

I asked a Swedish friend who explained that it could be that they are good with beer - but it's more likely that it's because they are named after an actor Erik 'Bullen' Berglund who starred in many Swedish comedy films (Pilsner films) in the 1930's.

I also found out that Bullens korv have been going strong since 1953 and neither the recipe nor the design on the can have been changed!
