My secret crush

I have a massive crush on this house. I drive past it every day, and I covet that tree SO much. It is an impossibly bright shade of purple and covered in a crazy amount of blossom. It brightens the street, and my day, so how could I not Blip it?

The door is that certain shade of blue that makes me think of Greek islands and hot summer days. The white plaster is peeling, but that adds to its charm, it's a much loved house. The cloudless blue sky set it off beautifully today.

We had a power cut today from 8am to 4pm. That meant: no washing, no cooking, no computer, no tv, no hoovering, no Minecraft .. happy day! We headed to the park for a picnic and stayed all day, playing catch, enjoying the sunshine and trying, unsuccessfully, to Blip birds.

Now home, I can see that the children have caught the sun and their freckles have come out. They're also filthy, exhausted and happy. Job done.
