the pan test. i've taken similar shots many times before, often with new cameras, just to see if they're up to scratch. the 100d is a great little camera but this kind of servo af in low light was a bit too much for it to handle! still it's not completely out of focus, so this shot (especially at small sizes) is somewhat usable...
