Freiburg Marathon 2014

It was bloody sunny and hence hot, and the whole personal-best-under-1-55-plan went out the window the instant we started running. But on the bright side of things, there were lots of water and bananas and cheering people along the track, it was bloody sunny and hence very beautiful, I got the first hint of my lost-in-Scotland skin colour back, and most important of all, we had a great time running and didn't pass out on the last two kilometers as did so many poor guys.
