Sorry to Leave You Hanging
We've been spending some extra time with our Treasured friends, but I did want to finish up the story of the great weekend we had with the kids.
Let's see, there was church together, lunch together, Mingus Park to play, walks and jogs and laughter, then bowling.
Bowling is an entirely different affair after 50. I discovered that bowling, while it used to seem slow paced and a non-aerobic activity, can get your heart rate up and make you warm enough to want to take your jacket off, when you're over 50....and under exercised. Overall..playing with children is a wonderful aerobic exercise that I highly recommend!
