lens test

it's always interesting to me how different lenses render in different ways. i know that sounds obvious, but a lot of people ask me what kind of camera i would recommend but the more i shoot, the more i think in terms of lenses and less of the camera. of course having a good camera is helpful, but understanding how lenses "see" the world is more important IMHO. i'm continually surprised at how sharp this particular lens is, while providing shallow depth of field.
