Making a statement

Yanks love bumper stickers. I've seen everything - political, war, religious and anti-abortion statements. Seems as though they love to use them as a tool for advertising their views and don't care about people's opinions - or the safety of their cars from vandals not sharing their views.

On site again today. Not walking the halls as I have that fun again on Friday. Had a catch up meeting with my rep and tried to set some goals for my Q2 bonus (after I found out that despite having goals for Q1, the bonus was guaranteed!).

Had my first fire to fight. A customer ordered some products before I left on vacation and I knew half of them were out of stock until may/June. He didn't notice at the time but emailed me today saying he needed some of them by Monday at the very latest. Thinking I would have to let them down (their first order from us so not a good impression - even though it wasn't our fault - it was the suppliers manufacturing problem) I checked on the off chance that they were miraculously in stock. The gods were smiling on me as they were. One lot from the local warehouse so should be there tomorrow. The other from New Jersey and should arrive by Monday. I waived the shipping as a courtesy = 1 content customer.

Then in the afternoon went to help out our sales team at my other major account. Chasing up back ordered items to see when/if they had been shipped to our customer or not.

Run and gym this evening, cancelled out by mexican grub at cozymels.
