Three's a crowd?

At this time of year, the deer seem to band together in search of food. It's still pretty scarce, especially after this past winter. So an easy treat is the seeds that fall on the ground from our bird feeders. They've been passing by a couple of times a day for the past few days and as many as 10-12 at a time. The older and smarter deer will even stand on their hind legs and eat the seed right from the feeder. Quite a sight! Once the buds appear on the trees, they will have an easier time of it.
