The enchanted forest

Or at least that's what it looks like to me. And in many ways it is. It's a park slap bang in the centre of Norwich where many things have taken place: celebrations, demonstrations, concerts, just hanging out. It lends itself to so many different things.

It's where we got over a thousand people together for a rally before we marched the short distance to stand against the poisonous, racist EDL and it's where the joyful, colourful Norwich Pride parade has started from for the past five years before it wove it's joyful, colourful way down Theatre Street, along the Walk and to City Hall. It's where we've held the poignant, candle-lit No to Hate Crime vigil for the past couple of years.

Most people know it as Chapelfield Gardens. I like to think of it as the enchanted forest.
