Take a Closer Look...

... at the back of the van. That's not real beer -- the back doors are covered with a very realistic trompe l'oeil. I had to look at it a couple of times to be sure, but the licence plate which appears to be floating in the air is a giveaway.

While we're on the subject of beer -- one of my favorites -- I must tell you that two new breweries have just released their first beers here in Bellingham, bringing the total number of breweries to five. Woo-hoo! That's pretty good for a town of 90,000 people, but I wouldn't mind a couple more.

I think it's only fair to mention that Kulshan Brewing celebrated their second anniversary last Saturday.
