School holidays

I was in Milngavie today for an appointment with the dentist.
I went for a wee wander afterwards and I noticed quite a few families passing time on what was a pretty grey day. Very often it's grandparents happily looking after children during the school holidays. I like the gran who sat on the steps with a little one and opened up a picnic, good on her I thought, no fast food outlets for them. They seemed very content and happy with each other and didn't appear to notice the light rain falling.
