Trip to Newcastle

...then home to my weirdly alien-looking boys.

I'm still trying to decide if the trip to Newcastle was worth it...

- spent time chatting to a lovely colleague on the train
- met some colleagues who are also lovely
- found out what Finnish people have for Christmas dinner (sweetened potato stew, carrot stew, swede stew and sometime liver stew - I did ask if you could mix things up and have a carrot & swede stew but apparently that is soooo not an option)
- played peek-a-boo with a baby on the train

On reflection, it was worth it.

Oh, and I attended a training course. It was...okay.
