Rivers flow

'Many a calm river begins as a turbulent waterfall, yet none hurtles and foams all the way to the sea.'
Mikhail Lermontov

I love water, in all its guises. As long as it flows. The inevitability of constant change appeals to me; the fact that it will never be the same twice and that the tumble and gush of streams and rivers will continue long after I've gone. The calmness of a still sea or the foaming of a waterfall, both reach me deep inside and feel like a long breath.

'What I love most about rivers is, you can't step in the same river twice. The water's always changing, always flowing.'
