NEW BORN

Hello – my name is H-ewe and I am 9 minutes old.

I am on a journey of life and was in a dark place inside my Mum for 145 days – since 15 November in fact.
Suddenly here I am sitting on some wet straw. My new friend Maurice picked me up by my front legs and placed me in a pen. He then squirted something in my mouth and something else under my tummy.

I think legs are the four things at the corners of my body. As yet I cannot get them to work but Mum says she will keep licking me until they work. Then I can get some special milky liquid that will keep me alive and let me grow.

My Mum says she will protect me from anything baa-d in the world – especially something called mint sauce !
