Museum on the move

Today, we walked past three different old restored electric tram cars moving through Park Schinkeleilanden. We were surprised as we thought the line was not used. I have since learned that these cars are part of the Electric Tram Line Museum. From April to October, only on Sundays, the museum operates in restored early 20th century trams on a special line that runs from the museum building in Amsterdam to the Amsterdam Bos in Amstelveen.

In addition to this car from Groningen, the museum has trains from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Den Haag, Utrecht, Vienna, Graz and Prague.
