My Blipping Guru

Today I met LadyFindhorn for the first time - well the first time in her Blipping persona. We can't be quite sure WHEN we met under our other names but think maybe about 4 years ago - though at our age time rushes by. But we can't forget WHERE - we were on a camping trip in the Western Desert when we slept under the stars in the White and Black Desert. It was an amazing adventure and we've been in touch since. I had admired her blips for some time and with her encouragement finally started myself. We met today so that she could help straighten me out on a few technicalities. I'm not sure how far we got as the chat intervened somewhat - but it was fun to catch up.

After that it was the Fergusson exhibition followed by a belated birthday treat from my oldest friend - feeling very spoiled as it was my second Michelin star meal in a week, at Paul Kitching's 21212. I don't normally live the dream but this was it. (If I had remembered to ask Lady Findhorn how to add links I'd have posted photos of the most gorgeous food).

On the way back to the station we walked up the hill from the restaurant for a stunning 360 degree view of Edinburgh - so today, I was spoiled for choice for blips but of course I had to pick the one above, of her ladyship in the grand surroundings of the Balmoral.
