Anticipation

So tomorrow - Thursday 10th April 2014 - is the date of the 2014 Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards.

The evening comprises of a VIP Gala Dinner, the Awards Ceremony in the SECC Clyde Auditorium and then the party will continue I am sure.

The importance of the event has never been greater. The Young Scot Awards is truly a recognition of just some of the many thousands of achievements by Young People across Scotland and delivers the opportunity to share that positive story with the people of Scotland.

The awards itself will be broadcast - Thursday 17th April 2014 at 9PM - on STV.

The awards features Young People who are an inspiration to us all, as well as Representatives of Government and Civic Society and of course some Celebrities too.

I am delighted to be representing North Lanarkshire's Glasgow 2014 Young Scot Youth Legacy Ambassadors as one of the team who have been made finalists for our Commonwealth Logo Maze Project being delivered in New Stevenston, Motherwell, North Lanarkshire.

I look forward to the awards, being with friends and sharing the incredible stories of Scotland's inspirational Young People with others. What a night we have ahead tomorrow!
