Carduelis spinus

A sweet wee bird which can be pretty hard to spot as it is rather well camouflaged.

Saw loads of birds today on a walk with my Dad, plus some dolphins wandering round in the surf created where the Spey meets the sea. No Ospreys sadly but I did see some Goldeneyes and what I also think is a Velvet Scoter but I need my proper bird guide which I seem to have failed to pack!
