Maria has gone to London this morning from East Croydon to London Victoria for a get together for uni friends, one of whom is celebrating her 19th birthday.
They are going to do some sight seeing and watch Matilda.
Paul, his parents M and R and me drove in great sunshine to Westerham in Kent, to see the beautiful Spring gardens.
It is truly a blippers' paradise!

The new Marmalade cat Jock was a joy to pet.
The tradition goes that a ginger marmalade cat will always live at Chartwell as Churchill loved them and had them in his time there.
My first cat was a ginger Tom as well and I share Churchill's birthday date, but in 1955.
I love Chartwell and it was a joy to visit this splendid stately home of the great statesman.
