Blenheim Palace...

Ok i may have lied yesterday when i said that my break from research ended yesterday. Today, i had an early start because i went to Blenheim Palace with LanTing. The Palace was nothing like Versailles in Paris but it was definitely worth a visit. Plus the decorations in some of the rooms resemble (or patterned) that of the ones in Versailles according to the tour guide.

I particularly enjoyed the Grand Cascade that was located at the other end of the gardens. I probably miss the many water cascades that we have in the Philippines when i saw that. Another thing that made this trip memorable was that the palace main door staff was very friendly with us and even let us hold the key to the front door of the palace. The key was huuuggggeee!!! He also demonstrated to us how the key works. Oh well it was nothing like the modern key in the keyhole that we have today.

I was supposed to go to the Bodleian Library but we had a very nice time roaming the gardens and so i didnt have enough time when i got back to the city centre. So i just went directly to the train station to catch my 507pm train back to Leam.
