It's my Mum and Dad's fortieth wedding anniversary today. Check that.

They're away for the weekend. So we'll see them once they get back. Can't quite believe that they've been married that long as I'm not really that old. And neither are they.

The rest of the day saw church, lunch, clear up, niece's birthday chat and a quiet evening in advance of the wee-estWeir's hospital trip tomorrow.
