Closed Until Easter

Popped out to South Queensferry to visit my wee niece this morning and we took a walk along the Firth of Forth past the new bridge. It is starting to take shape, with some of the supports beginning to rise out of the water. How did they ever work out how to do the bit below the water when they were building big bridges in ye olden days though?
