Hole in the cloud
I haven't been Blipping for a few days, (in case you hadn't noticed), because Linda has been a bit unwell and I've had to do eeeeeverything around the house on my lonesome. Can you hear the violins yet? No, then I'll tell you more. A full house over the weekend, meant getting up at 5am after being up most of the night already tending to Linda. Cooking and serving breakfast on my own, where it normally takes two frazzled people. Cleaning all the rooms and en-suites, making beds, vacuuming, cleaning piles of dishes, setting up the dining room for the next day, drying ten peoples walking gear as they come in at various times sodden wet. Washing and ironing a mountain of bed linen. Shopping at the supermarket. Fixing a fire door that has decided to choose this moment to come off it's hinges, (must be taking lessons from me), while checking all along that Linda is coping up on the top floor bedroom. Dealing with bookings, (no complaints there), sorting out the perpetual mess that Booking.com makes of things. Ah, I hear the violins now, or is it just you screeching at me to stop already. So now that things are beginning to get back to normal and Linda is feeling much better, I've got a brief minute to take a shot of the sky from our bedroom window before the sun goes down. Fancy running a guest house anyone?
