St. Kilda Pier

Back on two wheels again! We finally figured out the knack of successfully paying for the local version of the Boris bikes and zoomed along (well, not quite...) the beach front to St. Kilda Pier. No signs of the local penguins but we spotted other local wildlife including a pelican and a leathery two legged animal dressed only in skimpy speedos and a cowboy hat.

As I took this shot Tim befriended the Ferrari pit crew who were staying in the area for a short break before heading to Malaysia.

We carried on down to St. Kilda where we picked up a book on Nano houses for our friends and had lunch in the vegetarian cafe Sisters of Soul.

After a quick stop at the flat we decided to ride into town and to cycle along upriver. Once a away from the busiest section in was beautiful and a lovely way to spend the late afternoon in the sunshine.
