First proper day in Garrettstown which started with rain and the arrival of my sister-in-law and the kids.

It developed into an amazing afternoon with lots of people on the beach doing their thing.

We got a lift along to the local pub, had a quick pint and then walked back to the house, just to check, you know for future reference, that it was possible. Then later it was off to Kinsale for fish dinner with a chunk of the visiting family.

When we got back to the house we headed down to the beach - it's just so amazing to be near the sea again.
