Grandpa's Workshop

As you might have guessed (or hoped), this blip is not about my workshop.

Grandpa's Workshop , by Maurice Pommier, is one of the most delightful books I have come across in a very long time. I almost wrote "children's books", but I'm having trouble putting it down after just looking at few pages. I completely agree with the blurb on the back cover "...Pommier has created a book for all ages who value history, family, and craftsmanship". Here's a sample page.

The book was going to be a present for my grandson, but I might have to get another copy for him -- I'm not sure I can let this one go!
