Old School

We broke up the journey from London to Glasgow by stopping off at my Mum and Dad's tonight. We had stayed with Jen's grandma last night and it was great to catch up with her, even for a flying visit.

After a LONG drive up (road works and heavy rain, urgh) we popped into see my grandma Winnie before heading to Mum and Dad's.

By the end of the day I had totally forgotten about my blip but remembered a bit of childhood nostalgia my Mum has kept in a drawer. My first Walkman! My sister and I both got one for Christmas one year. It was (still is!) so cool, you can see the parts inside spinning as the tape plays. No idea if it still works, I'll have to test it next time!
