I Can See You!

On a long cycle in Abernethy Forest and suddenly saw this wee chap scoot up a tree and stop to stare down at me.

I quickly stopped the bike, jumped off and got my camera out of my backpack.

I changed lens then crept towards the tree...

The light was really poor in the trees and he was pretty high up and I only got one shot before he took off.

I remembered the advice to never delete an image until it is processed so although far from perfect, I am pretty pleased with this one.

I love red squirrels!
