last day and pre-dinner drinks
we needed them for the reading later

very sad to leave this place
we all got her by serendipitous junctures like golden tickets winners or Agatha Christie suspects (EU funding is the banal reality) yet we all feel solid supportive friends and later on hearing the reading some people have made epic journeys. Tears, laughter, drunkeness, running, hugging and lots and lots of tea drinking and writing has happened. I feel I screwed up every exercise and mostly I realise why that was. I am at peace with it. It is more important I understand myself a bit better and go home to write than look for further blame or alibis.

lots to think about.. not least the epic hangover the next day and the epic thanks due to organisers, hosts and tutors as well as fellow students.
