A summer walk

I had a hard time choosing today's photo. There were several adequate for choosing, but I chose this one. It's the most colourful and I like the sky and the knotted willows.

I spent the morning at home, working. In the afternoon I went to the place where I was last Monday, this time for a walk on my own. Besides looking at spring flowers, I also went up and over the dike for a very, very, very enjoyable walk. I walked along meadows filled with Lady's Smock. The meadows were not entirely flat, so I felt a little like being in the opening scene of "The sound of music". It was not allowed to enter the meadow, so I wasn't able to dance and sing "the hills are alive with the sound of music".... Fortunately I didn't have to return to the monastery either...
