had a lovely day with the boys today...first proper day of the Easter hols!

we went to the bird hide we had to walk through a herd of cows and spotted a beautiful pheasant

...but BEST of all we were so lucky to see our first swallows of the year! when we got to the visitor centre hide there was a lot of excitement as the first 5 swallows had been spotted of the year and by the time we had left there was about 16 flying around so they were all arriving from their long migration and we were there to see it :) this photo was going to be my blip but as its quite far away I chose these lambs!
