ALL DAY IN THE GARDEN

we worked and worked. But in the end so much done.
Mischa and I cleared a nice spot where we can have a very casual terrace, little perhaps but with a nice view. The brambles with the thorns gave us a hard time.
We wondered what to do with the big trunks of that tree that some years ago had to be cut. Some time ago we had made a bench withg two of them, and why not make another one, so we can sit at the side of the little terrace?
The trunks are big and heavy, but in the end we found out how you use them,
with the power drill the screws through the two planks and ready to sit upon it.
We drank tea there of course.
Piet Hein had completed in the meantime another job.
After our little teaparty it was time to take some pictures and I found the dandelion seedhead with just one seed wanting to leave but it did not succeed. It kept waving and I sat on my knees and followed her movements.
Mischa had found a butterfly in the hut, sleeping soundly. A pretty one, we never had seen before. Her picture is here.

My haiku:

Adieu little one
Leave and find the soft soil and
Become yellow flower

And the proverb:

To rub (or scratch) the elbow.

(= to show oneself pleased)
