Drizzle

Another day of torrential rain, although it had slowed to just a drizzle as I walked Eddie home from the park. It would've been better the other way round and might've washed all the mud off his fur, I was asked if he'd been in a river by someone! Unfortunately on Heath Pool today mother duck only had 2 ducklings with her, not the original 5 we'd seen last week, what a shame. We were hoping it was two different families, but another dog walker said there's only one brown duck living on the pool.

I have to confess to popping these cinnamon whirls out of a tube, slicing and baking them. I did have to make the icing to drizzle on top though. Not bad for about 80p on offer, and the house smelt delicious!
