What shall we eat?

Found a folder full of old take out/delivery menus that for some reason I hadn't emptied out during our move from San Francisco. Looking at it this morning it really felt like a time capsule from a life that barely resembles the one we live now. We were both working crazy hours (for one of us that hasn't changed much, unfortunately) and dinner was regularly a delivery from one of many local restaurants. Eliza's and Jitlada were favorite places. In Portland the culture of food delivery just doesn't exist in the same way and it was a bit of shock when we first arrived here, there are certainly times when I miss that convenience!

Now I've recorded this blip the menus are going in the recycling.

Watched the new HBO series 'Silicon Valley' last night which was quite funny, as my husband put it: Some of it was a little too close to home. :-)
