Sir Walter Scott's Library

A wee day out to the Scottish Borders today. Went to Abbotsford, the home of the late Sir Walter Scott. I was last here many moons ago when my gran stayed at St Boswells. Here's a picture of Scott's library. So many books for one lifetime!
It's a good day out with a new posh visitors centre, helpful staff and a very nice eatery upstairs. Would recommend.
