Time Travel?

Today began in Medieval and Renaissance Florence, Italy, and ended a thousand miles away and several centuries later in present day Istanbul, Turkey - the skyscrapers in Levent district being the sight that greeted us as we descended the Airport shuttle bus service to hail a taxi for the last stage home.

Walking in through the door to be greeted by Connie-Dog, Elizabeth and Caroline was very nice - and they liked the Italian ham I had brought for them after which I did most of the unpacking (including Parmesan and Pasta) before sitting down with a cold beer to cuddle Connie and look at all 350+ photographs that capture my amazing Florentine experience.
