I do like a blowsy bloom!

The Bingley Parish church gardens are a bit under par really - thinking a visit by Monty Don would be a good thing (always!) but, they do have a shrubby Rhododendron and a lovely willow tree though! I always thought Rhododendrons flowered in May so I thought this may be an azalea instead, but googling it said generally azalea have 5 stamen and the Rhododendrons ten, so on that basis - I'm calling it a Rhodie!
Great start to the week, my middle one's boyfriend secured a permanent teaching post today after a year's contract and many years of applying - hurrah - so very pleased for him/them!! :))))
But very saddened to hear the news of Peaches Geldof - very sad :((
