From the Bottom...
...It's a Blues Brothers song.
(One of those that's good for Kitchen Dancing.
Alone Kitchen Dancing).
The image above, however...
I'm SO excited, I hardly know how to tell you... :-)
...Is a ladybird...
Get ready...
LAYING EGGS :-) :-) :-)
(Is it a harlequin?? Or a two spot??
I really don't know.
It doesn't have brown legs - which is sometimes an indicator of a harlequin).
Anyway. I texted trusty (and long-suffering) Daughter with the exciting news.
'It probably feels like the insect equivalent of being spied on by a google earth van', came the reply.
'P.S. I recommend a flask and a camping stool'.
Loads of eggs were laid.
It was a lengthy process, they didn't all pop out like blowing bubbles.
(Blowing bubbles? That's something I haven't thought of for a long time).
I had to return in doors (my hands had gone just a little bit numb).
On resuming my vigil, the ladybird had gone but the little eggs remain.
OH! I nearly forgot, the OTHER eggs are showing signs of movement.
One of them (isn't it just too much to bear?) is expanding, tall-poppyish.
And the end is 'doing something'.
Also, the Mundi household is breathing a sigh of contentment.
Series 6 of the Big Bang Theory arrived today. Phew.
(Though we're on short rations, as we're running out of series now. None of this, 'shall we just watch one more' nonsense).
The 'Sheldon' I live with is strict .
I wonder what tomorrow will bring? :-)
