Portchester Castle

Decided to detour to Portchester Castle en-route to the supermarket this evening. The main tower seems to spend its evenings unlit these days but fortunately the west-side land gate was illuminated by street-lamp so was able to be captured.

I must get out and photograph more of this history around me.
