Full of promise (backblip)

First I would like to thank you all for the lovely comments & concern yesterday. My Mum is gradually improving .... though I think it will take a while. Thank you again :-)

Garden Project Day 2

We spent today trying to level off the ground. It was such an unbelievable mess!!! In one part there was a slope down which ended in a 3 inch (7-8 cm) 'step' up to the level of the rest of the garden. The rest of the so called 'level' area looked like 'hills & valleys'!

So we ended up on our knees with trowels (now that would have made a blip!!!) ..... shaving the tops off the 'hills' & using that to fill in the 'valleys'!!! We also had to find enough soil to fill in the slope to the level of the 'step'.

So today turned out to be a lot more work than we had bargained for! Still it does look much better now it's done!
