Oh Dear

Cut a chunk out of the end of my thumb this morning.
Called 111 and was told to go to A & E at the local hospital.
Sat around for a couple of hours to have it badly dressed and told to go home,told to keep it up high with pressure on it till the bleeding stops as there is not enough skin to stitch,when I asked how long for it to stop bleeding I was told between 10 minutes or 6-7 hours depending on how quick your body heals.Then see my own doctor on Wednesday for reassessment ......
By the time I got home the dressing was soaked through and I have just redressed it myself,as you can see nice blood free dressing.
Well that's the last time I go to A & E unless I think I'm dying.......
